.sqm files - live messenger... Drop dead!

Installed MS Live Messenger and got swamped with crap files :angry: all with the extension .sqm

They are located at;
C:\ and C:\Documents and Settings\Computer-ID\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\MSN-number
and I would like to clean them out!

So please add Live Messenger .sqm file to the CCleaner "cleanable" files :blink:

Are these files not needed for anything?

They're "Service Quality Monitor" data collection timer files created from Windows Live Messenger, and are apparently safe to delete.

I personally would just leave them for the time being though.

Yeah, it's so soon after the release that they could come in handy for now.
