i usually use my usb flash drive for temporary files, however, every time i store a compress file i cannot open it later. I got error message" please insert last disk if multi-volume set". For those who knew the problem already, the usb drive already in my computer. Got an article on google from microsoft to solve the problem but it did not works. Told me to download a zip opener, i got 7zip an winrar but those canot open either. thank in advance.

sounds like your flash drive is to blame for corrupting them. How old is the drive and how often do you transfer temp files from it?

I am sure it is not the flash drive. Other type of files works fine with it (thanks). Anyway i posted my thread in the wrong caterogy, please move it. My bad.
