In the advanced settings, options menu, the first option is: Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours. Is there any reason why I should NOT delete these files? I ran CCleaner with this box unchecked after running it with it checked, to see what files it would find, but since I'm new to this I wasn't sure and thought I should ask first. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it, thanks!

Hi,

some application installers save their files in a Temp folder, and those files are needed at restart.
Deleting them immediately may cause corrupted and/or incomplete installs. 48 hours is considered
a reasonable delay for delete them without cause any problem.
