A couple of days ago, my son was standing looking at the cereals in his local supermarket, when a guy about the same age comes and stands next to him on his left, also looking at the cereals.

After a little while, this chap says "what sort of cereal do you prefer?"

My son, at first a little taken aback replies "well, I normally eat muesli, but sometimes for a change I try a packet of corn flakes or bran".

This chap slowly turns round to face my son with a look of total bemusement on his face, and it's only then that he notices the blue tooth phone strapped to the guys left ear.

I would have probably just left and went to a different store. That would have embarrassed the crap out of me.

Well at least he didn't say "I'm cuckoo for Coco Pops"

He thought a total stranger was coming up to him and asking him what type of cereal he liked. Which would be rather strange.. but after Dennis' son answered the guy turned around and had a blue tooth cell phone reciever on his ear. So basically instead of him asking Dennis' son he was asking his wife or something.

My face would probably turn so red from embarassment. I think I'd run out of the store. lol

Yeah then some grocery clerk might end up calling the Police saying
"He bolted out of the store so fast, I think he stole some cereal."

I hate bluetooth earpieces! People look psychotic, talking to themselves o_O.

edit - I can imagine the strip search now with the cop asking the culprit where he hid the box of cereal.
