CCleaner is only partly deleting files in Applications

I dont know about Vista , but in xp you may have to run the issues a few times to sort them all out. Some come back but not as many, then do it again, but maybe you already tried that.

You could also try the advice in the thread at the top of this very section of the forum: Registry issues keep reappearing in CCleaner

I'm having the same problem. CCleaner will say the issues have been fixed, but the same issues reappear the next time I run the program and the program does not shut down- it just stays at 100%. I also upgraded to Vista. I looked in Dial-a-Fix, but it says its not for Vista. Any ideas?

Have you tried right-clicking the CCleaner icon on your desktop and choosing 'run as administrator'?

That seems to have done it! Thanks so much!

Perhaps this advice could be added to the "Reg issues reappearing" sticky as something to try if using Vista.
