Hey, I just tried to install Spywareblaster and when I tried to open the program, I came up with this strange error.
Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
So I searched Google for 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' and download an installer from the Javacool website (makers of Spywareblaster), this however did not help. I tried a few installers and nothing worked.
Anyone have any idea what to do?

Sadly no, I tried a download from Javacool and MajorGeeks. It keeps saying that the file is missing, and then I decided to check for myself. I looked in c:/windows/system32, and sure enough there it was. It is quite strange I keep getting this error. The file is in the right place and it is registered.

Did you see this on Javacool site?
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=5169Did you see a message such as the one shown on this page when you registered it? (Note there is a space after regsvr32 and the rest of the text. Also just use the download for the exact file not the library)
