Tried to scan my 500GB Western Digital USB Hard Drive using the latest version (1.02.086). Previously I got the following error message: "Failed to reserve memory"
... but now I'm getting this message: "bad allocation".
Also with this new version Recuva always crashed on exiting the application. Vista's Problem Reports and Solutions Centre gives the following information about the crash:

Can you run Recuva in debug mode and post the log here
Thanks MrRon

I ran the application using the /DEBUG parameter and got the same error message. Were you expecting it to produce an error log somewhere. I checked in "C:\Program Files\Recuva\" and there was nothing in there.

/debug should create a log in the /Program files/Recuva folder, note that the argument is case sensitive.

The log is really useful, thanks. We'll be looking into this issue during the next few days.
