Full Version: Images53.src

I recently downloaded a file called images53.src off of a friend he sent me. Immediatly, a box popped up and then closed. It was saying things about "Protect your computer for free" and other advertising schemes before closing.

I had a look on the processes tab of Task Manager and saw that images53.exe was running so I terminated the application and ran HijackThis to see if it was just a dud or a real virus.

Here is my HijackThis log:

I don't want to reboot my computer in case images53.src has infected the boot-up config and my PC will refuse to start.

Thanks
