Okay, RR.

1. I removed the following using HJT.

2. Spywareblaster is now installed, updated, and enabled.

3. Spybot is updated and immunized for now, and only default settings used.

4. AntiVir is installed and running.

5. Just installed Java 6 update 2.

6. Just installed MS updated, I hope that IE7 successfully installed. *fingers are crossed*

7. McAfee, and some Yahoo! Spware removal thingy removed. And yes "thingy" is a technical term.

8. Turned off the verbose logging.

9. Ran CCleaner thoroughly.

10. Now PC is rebooting.


So the following still needs to be done: (tell me if I'm forgetting anything please)

1. Confirm that IE is working properly, if it isn't then unimmunize Spybot. If it's still not I have a few more tricks up my sleeve that should work. I stress should.

2. Once IE is running properly run Kaspersky online scanner, and post the log file.

3. Run the other Spyware Removal thing that takes 10 years to scan.

4. Once the machine is deemed clean by you do a chkdsk /r, and defrag for shits and grins!
