Today I uninstalled a trial of a translation program by Translution, and ever since my Internet Explorer 7 history displays not only visited web pages, BUT all documents, whether pdf. or doc., opened on my pc.

How can I reset this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why would the 'My Computer' history be stored in IE's history?

Because it's a Microsoft product

I don't know the reason but I've never seen a PC that didn't list My Computer and local documents in IE History. AFAIK, it's been that way since the earliest versions.

If you "fix" it, please post the solution.
