do you guys update your windows by turning on automatic updates or do you go to windows update website and update from there?
I dont have the "automatic update" setting on.
I goto the Windows Update website a little once in a while to manually check for updates.

apologies here... can give reason for whether you choose automatic updates or windows update website...
I have automatic updates turned on, however sometimes it can't download the updates therefore I still have to use the Windows Update website every now and then.

I always go to the site. I do the Custom version to make sure I get more than just the critical stuff. Works wonders when I need it and I check every so often.

Same here, sometimes automatic update is slower than the actually Windows Update site on releasing updates.

Can you PLEASE stop talking about having illeagal software. I'm about 98% sure that no one here has an illeagal copy of windows except you. This is not the forum for talking about that, this forum is for helping people with computer related problems and just learning in general.
