Is it possible to get CC to clear Today's IE History? I have had no success and have to do a manual delete. Closing all IE windows does not help. Any ideas?

CCleaner will clean the History if you have the option checked.

IEHistoryView also will do that:

I have the option checked and it does clear the history except for "Today's History" Very occasionally it will also clear todays but 9 times out of ten it is still there and has to deleted from within IE

It seems that maybe something else is accesing the relevant file or registry entry and stopping CCleaner from deleting it. I have no idea what it could be though.
