I have .Net Framework 2, and I was wondering weather anyone knew what the newest version is.

It's at version 3.5 now and I've had it installed for some time and not as of yet have I ran into an application that requires it.

Note that if you install 3.5 you must leave the earlier versions installed, because if you remove them you will break applications that rely upon them such as for example Paint.NET, etc.
