Apologies to all but having contributed my £10 through PayPal I find that my software is still showing v.1.41.544 and not as expected v.2.09.600. Any advice please will be gratefully received by this silver surfer.

(Oh no, not another one.) Did you pay for CCleaner? It is a totally free product.

I suggest looking for products at the filehippo site.
