and what does defraggler actually do to my files? I'm just curious today.

For the fragmentation question:

Defraggler defragments your files.

Option 1: Quick Defrag:
Click Analyze and then defrag only the fragmented files for a; Quick/fast files only defrag by viewing the file list.
Option 2: Full Defrag:
Click the Defrag button to defragment the whole drive, this is a; Thorough defrag, and is significantly slower.
