Here is a nice pictorial guide to what this beta version of IE8 looks like as you install it. Also shows in pictures some of the things that are available in it.

I installed IE8 on my old 500MHZ 512MB RAM PIII running XP Pro SP3 and it works great.

I like the fact that it highlights the domain name in the address bar.

Neither McAfee SiteAdvisor nor the Google Toolbar work though.

IE7Pro and Web of Trust ( WoT ) both work fine.

I'll have to peruse the pictorial next time I fire the old beastie up.

By the way, I use Avira AntiVir anti virus on it and MBAM occasionally which takes almost 8 minutes to do a Quick scan.

Edit: The pictorial is fine but I looked at on my P4 system.

I thought a pictorial view of IE8 might be nice for folks.

Pictures seem to explain things better sometimes. smile.gif
