I just purchased an external hard drive to back up my laptop's hard drive. Is there a way to use CCleaner to keep my external drive tidy as it does with my c drive? Any advice is appreciated?

The only thing you can do on non-system drives is include specific files or folders in the Include option of CC. Bear in mind that any folders included will have their entire contents 'cleaned'. not just apparently temp files.
