No problem here -- XP SP3.

No problem here.

When FF starts acting up what I do is make a backup copy of my bookmarks, then I fully uninstall it making sure to also delete my profile folder. Then I reinstall it, and of course restore the bookmarks from the backup I made. In many instances this will fix some issues, then again if it doesn't you'll have to keep using that older version that's more stable on your system.

Question is, what extensions were you using in conjunction?

A little late for a reply I suppose BUT: On my system, XP SP2, sometimes this just happens. I don't understand why. Disabling add-ons fixes the crash problem. After doing that the first time, I enabled them one-by-one. Since then I have discovered that disabling only McAffee SiteAdvisor puts a stop to the crashes. I then try running it again every day until it works. Not very technical, I know.

I have 22 ad dons and I do not have the McAfee Site Advisor ad don , it still crushes almost every day. Not practical for me to find out by disabling ad dons one by one..but thanks for the idea any way.
I suspect it has something to do with the google toolbar I`m still working on it.

I don't have a crush on FF.

In fact I hate it.

I prefer IE7 or IE8 beta2 with IE7Pro.

FF3 Portable is a great browser. I didn't have much luck with FF3 Desktop.
