Full Version: Are these files safe to delete?

Trying another disk cleaner. I realize the Google Earth one might just remove a saved location but not sure about the others. Thank You!

Temp (.tmp) and old (.old) files are just that. They'yre temporary or old. If you're running a really old app on your PC you may want to keep it, but that's usually not the case. Temp files are regenerated if needed again so they're safe to delete.
Logs are logs. Bedtime reading material. You can save them or delete them. I usually delete them.

The Windows\System32\CatRoot2 file I would leave alone till someone more knowledgable than I posts here.
