Hello All,

I was wondering if there was good freeware that could convert PDF to Powerpoint. I have a powerpoint that has been saved as PDF and I would like to get in it and play around. Thank you!

Sorry but I think you may be out of luck. I've only ever seen things to go the other way around.
Unless its some crazy elaborate thing, you may be better off just copying it manually into powerpoint.

I don't know of any free software that will do that.

There is always PDF2Word, once in Word you just copy and paste the text and pictures into PowerPoint. It isn't free but there are ways around that. dry.gif

According to the poster at the bottom of this page, "Open Office can do that quite well".

TechSpot:

I don't have it, so can't confirm, but maybe it's a big install for one job.

Open Office:

Openoffice can save as pdf, I dont think it can go back to powerpoint though.

Even for programs that are not free, you would most likely be disappointed with the results. With the conversion back to PowerPoint, the slide is treated like an image, so modifying the text and the sort is really not there.

Recreating the slide manually is the least expensive, and the most flexible way to work with the slide content.

Ok... it was worth a try. Thanks everyone!
