My name is William (44 years old), used CCleaner for quite awhile now, and I could have sworn I registered here already, oh well, most likely thought I did and didn't go through the process then. wink.gif

Welcome Bill.

If you're thinking of swapping hard disks while keeping all your programs and settings intact look at this thread. If it's just to copy a document to another disk already installed in your PC just Copy+Paste it over to the other drive.

I recommend and use an external hard drive as I find that it is easy to install and the power for the extra hard drive is provided by the external hard drive enclosure so that the extra power does not impact the host system power supply.
It connects through a USB port and not very expensive:

I use Karen's Replicator to keep things in sync between the hard drives:
