It would be nice if Avast had something built in for autorun disabling, like one little box to check. It would beat manually disabling stuff.

I tried the Panda USB protection application on one of my Flash drives already protected by Flash_Disinfector on my Vista system and it complained that it could not protect it.

Maybe the complaint is due to the already active Flash disinfector protection (intereaction). Why would you need two protections on the same issue?
I tried the Panda USB program with 0 fault.

That is a False positive because it downloads fine with avast! and is not malware according to Malwarebytes MBAM.
Send in a False positive report to Avira AntiVir.

When I fire up my XP Pro system with Avira AntiVir I'll check it out.

Added info: It is a false positive and I tried to report it but I had a problem:
