Hi jerry, and welcome to Piriform.

CCleaner doesn't compare at all as it isn't a Spyware Scanner/Remover. CCleaner is a temp file remover, although it will probably pick up a few tracking cookies while it's cleaning. It removes all the temporary files created by your browsers and other programs, including the removal of cookies.

For Spyware scanning and removal I would suggest something like SuperAntiSpyware (Freeware Version).

SuperAntiSpyware:

I don't use either of the other apps you mention so can't really comment on them.

Edit: MBAM is another malware removal tool worth having in your arsenal.

MBAM: (Free Version)

Can it handle flash files and flash based cookies?

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg, and welcome to Piriform.

Yes, CCleaner does remove Flash Cookies (settings.sol files) by having the Abobe and/or Macromedia check boxes checked in CCleaner\Applications\Multimedia.

Jerry, do you mean programs won't work on your PC at the moment?

If that's the case, and if that's why you are asking about Spyware Removal programs, then I would strongly advise following the instructions in the following link.
