Every day when i turn on my computer i get these web sites in my favorites list. I've never been to them before and they will not go away. they are all adult web sites that i did not put there and absoulutley refuse to go away i have deleted them and yet they prevail in the end. (by deleted i mean ive clicked delete off favorites list and then deleted them out of my recycle bin.) ive never visited these sites and dont know how they got there i am the only one who has accsess to my account on XP and the admin. is never on how do i get these off and does this have anything to do with my previous problems?

have you tried using a program called eraser.
http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Eraser/1010751436/1
After installing it go to My Computer, Local Disk:c Then docs and setting.
Next select your user and click it. Then in it go to favorites. Open it, and find the links you don't want a use eraser on them. If that does not work i don't know what to do.
Hope it helps

sgt_kidd21, it would have helped if you had kept all your posts regarding this problem in one topic.

Guys I know you trying to help but your just giving more work to the person who needs help. Please leave this section to either me, Tarun, or CaPMan. I'm not trying to be rude but by giving false info you could be potentially damaging the users computer.

sgt kidd those bookmarks are most likely being generated by spyware or a virus. You will have to get admin authority and follow the previous instructions you have been given. Without doing this no one can help you.
