up until the last version CCleaner had no problems on my system. the latest versions just fails to instal past the initial language dialog. i'm using winxp pro service pack on fujitsu laptop s7010d with 512 ram, 80g hd. all anti-virus and anti-spyware are turned off during installtion including win firewall. even then the installation fails without any error message. please advise. thanks.

Make sure you removed the old version.(It shouldnt matter, but its worth a try). Now redownload the installer and see if it works now.

if you downloaded from filehippo, do it again because that website stops downloads and you cant resume em. it's very annoying
