Hi, Icedrake.

Didn't seem to work here.
- Entered email address, got an email with no license code in it, just a blank line.
- Downloaded the file anyway, installed it, no reboot required, clicked on upgrade, got sent to a purchase offer.
- Scanning with the free version now. Nice GUI.
- Scan complete. Found "Spyware.Win32/Dropper, File, C:\WINDOWS\unins000.exe, 11-19775"
- Virustotal and Virscan say no threat, probably a false positive.
- Tried going to the "Get Free License" link again, got this message:
Sorry! Running out of free license!

Are you sure? I just tried it and I got the free license. If it's not working for you then I can give you the license I got, as I won't be using this program.

Very generous of you. Thanks but no, you keep yours. I'll try it again, will be OK either way. Always on the lookout for freeware for nephews and nieces who are experiencing cash flow problems. Thats why I checked it. It does look like a good find and a good app, free or paid. Thanks again. Will post back if it works this time.

edit: It worked. Got the email, where the blank space was before, there is now a registration code. Checked the old email, sure enough, blank (reassures self: not crazy...)

I have long suspected that this computer is haunted. Now at this season it is coming out more and more.
