Full Version: Norman Security Suite <-> Ccleaner
I installed new version of Ccleaner (ccsetup225) today. When I tried to run program Norman will prevent run and says program has "NH-Slow.D" virus and moves program to quaranty. Why so?
Norman Security Suite, last update 2009-nov-14 19:42:24, has quarantined "ccleaner.exe" ver 2.25 with "NH-Slow.D". ccleaner downloaded today, digital signed "22 oktober 2009 19:44:38", filesize 3,15 MB (3 310 608 byte).
Same report forwarded to Norman.

Same problem for me. it also happened when I tried to open IrfanView. Both programs deleted and defunkt.
Did you recieve a reply from Norman? Pls. let me know.

I discovered the same problem this morning Norman Security Suite removed CCleaner.exe because of NH-Slow.D
This looks like a False Positive by Norman.
Best thing to do is report it to them so they can update their definitions.

Hey.... It all works again.
Ccleaner as well as IrfanView can now be installed again without problems. I used the same setup files that I tried to install from yesterday, so the changes must be with Norman. I havn't heard from them though, but probably will tomorrow when they return after the weekend.

Norman confirmes "False Positive".
Way around if Inet update does not work suggested in Swedish below.

Se först till att ditt Norman har de senaste uppdateringarna installerade.
Högerklicka på N-ikonen och välj Uppdatera nu / Internet Update
Om detta inte hjälper, lägg till filen (filens namn) eller hela mappen (som programmet är installerat i) i Normans undantagslista.
Norman kommer då inte att söka i denna mapp något mer.
Högerklicka på N-ikonen och öppna NSS
Välj Virus & Spywareskydd och sedan konfigurera. Klicka på Viruskontroller och sedan undantagslista.
Lägg till mappen eller filens namn
Spara ändringar och starta om datorn.
