That should be "is supposed to be released today". These things don't always go off as planned.
The schedule is for sometime after noon, PST, which I believe is 8:00 PM, GMT.

If you read it at Neowin, or any news site who used Neowin as a source. I'd have a hard time believing it.
Checking an official Mozilla site though, it'll be out at noon pacific, 3pm EST.

Is it stable? I had huge crashing problems with the betas and RC version.

Don't mind that it's said to be the RC3 build.

Looks like the mozilla site is getting hit hard, it keeps timing out. Maybe worth waiting a few days for the new download.

So now that Firefox 1.5 is out, is every body happy with it? Are there any "bugs" still to be worked out. I hear there are some problems with themes. Should I wait a bit before downloading . . . or is it good to go?

I like 1.5 very much. There was one thing that made the application behave less like other applications when using the "classic" look of Windows, but there was a way to circumvent it.
I am very pleased with Firefox 1.5 !

Its crashed on me twice since I got it. Same thing that the RC ones did. Everyonce in a while when I click bookmarks the thing crashes completely. Other than that I havent had any major problems. Its deffinetely worth the upgrade.
What I want is a new firetune that can maybe get more power out of 1.5.
