Unless I unclick System > Temporary Files it crashes during analysis or when I click to run the cleaner.
I get
Runtime error '6':
Overflow

Windows XP Pro Service Pack 1
AMD Athlon FX-51
1GB RAM

Can you have a look and see if there are any unusually large files, or a large number of files in your temp folder?
