Well you could have a look at my post count on the avast forums below if you wanted, its not a contest really though.

http://forum.avast.com/index.php?action=profile;u=5309

I can't speak for zaphirer/ Tarun etc, but i know that it makes me feel good knowing i have helped so many people out when they needed it.

Well you don't win anything for the milestone numbers....maybe FREE CCleaner for life laugh.gif

Do the post numbers go down when the board mods eliminate old posts?
zaphirer
. . . CCleaner is free

wow! 1738 post!!!
Tarun
With this type of forum users can set up their own custom titles.
zaphirer
...like the SG-1 forums... Room Cleaner, office assistant, etc. I wonder what our titles would be? Assistant garbage man? Street sweeper?

Msfn.org uses the same type of boards and they have it available for users to change their titles.

I should hope not. It certainly doesn't happen on any forums I have been to in the past.
id85
Tarun u post 451 wow !!! 49more to go!!!
Ben
On most forums that isn't a high post count at all. On some forums they have 20'000 or more posts. I have about 3500 on one forum, the highest person on that board is 5000.
Tarun
Yeah, I wonder what they call what I do. Forumaholic or Postaholic? biggrin.gif
Ben
I'd say postaholic. Sounds more, smooth and less original.

Yeah, helping people is a blast. When you help with others you can often learn or teach. biggrin.gif
Ben
You ever been on www.bleepingcomputer.com? I used to help a few people out on there but other than that it's just been my mates that i do remote assistance with. Gets in the practice! tongue.gif

Can't say I have. Some forums have run me off or tried to (such as crappy little rpg's) when I offered help. Though the community was terribly rude to begin with.
Ben
That forum's cool. You get banned for arguing, or at least warned. So there should be no problem there. If you are good at HijackThis go into that section and apply for a job as a member of the HJT Team. They fix logs which people post. It has a section dedicated to HJT logs. It's not bad. Not bad at all.

Having that many posts on such a small forum is a great thing. But a bad thing would be if it was all spam, I hate spam. Thankfully the majority is helping people. Keep it up Tarun! cool.gif
