Greetings. I started using CCleaner one week ago and am very pleased. I uninstalled Toni Arts Easy Cleaner and use CCleaner now.

I didn't realize when I downloaded CCleaner that I had downloaded a BETA version: v.127..242.

But it works fine. My question is, is updating to the next BETA version a simple matter of installing over the previous?

I did a search and found a post on this but I wasn't sure if it applied to BETA versions as well.

I'm running Windows XP Home SP2.

Thanks

Yes. You don't have to uninstall your current version; in fact it is better not to, because if you install the new version over-top of it, all of your settings will be saved, not to mention it is faster!

He's right. I like my settings to be saved so I upgrade over my current version.

Enjoy!

There is a new beta version 1.27.255 available from today. Use it to test the update - you will see that all your settings will be preserved.
