Should I have to make a back up of every item listed everytime i run the issues part?

And what if anything will i be doing work if i have Every 1 checked off in all of the Windows,Applications,Issues?

I heard that you should leave the Prefetch box clear. Is that correct?

I never backup, and clean everything without a problem. I do, however backup my registry with ERUNT.

When you make a backup with CCleaner, it backs up all listed issues in one file, not a separate file for each issue listed, which is convenient, since they are all grouped together.

You can make backups if you want, since they take very little space (usually around 30k or so), but like gunner, I don't personally make backups. CCleaner is extremely stable, and I have never had it remove a necessary registry entry.

And as far as that Prefetch box goes, don't listen to anyone who tells you that it is bad! All CCleaner removes is unnecessary files; it will not remove any Prefetch data that is relevant, so removing it simply frees up space, and won't cause you a single problem. Don't hesitate to check it!
