Yes, as its coded in Visual Basic, its dependent on vbruntimes and OCX files. It would be much better off coded in C/C++.

Rewriting CCleaner to be a single executable file and a config file would be awesome, and make it smaller and more portable.
But now that CCleaner is becoming
bigger and
more bulky, I guess the dream of a
more portable cleaning app isn't doing so hot...
