Hi raaz , Welcome to the forum smile.gif

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

Once the desktop loads please post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log.

Thanks Andy

Hi Rasmus

Its a good start but there's still alot of work to do smile.gif

You may want to copy and paste this reply to Notepad and save it to your desktop so that you have a hard copy of these instructions as all Browser windows need to be closed before fixing the entries in HijackThis,

Run Hijack This and choose Do A System Scan then place a check next to these entries

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SysSupport] uio.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [xxtoolbar] AppMasterCenter.exe

Close all open browser and other windows except for Hijack This and press the Fix Checked button

If you have any Internet connection problems after removing the above Malicious NameServer entries, Please go to Start -> Control Panel, and choose Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually Local Area Connection or Dial-up Connection if you are using Dial-up, and left click on properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio button that says Obtain DNS servers automatically. Click OK twice, and restart your computer.

Next visit VirusTotal

Open the scan site and press Browse then locate this file

C:\WINDOWS\System32\CSFWA.EXE

Then double click it to load the path into the Virus scan window then press Send

If the virus scan results show any detection for Trojan DNSChanger or any other infection please then remove the file.

Next search for these files and delete them if they still exist .

Goto Start Menu > Search > Click All Files and Folders, scroll down to the More Advanced Options which is the last option, click that and then make sure there is a check next to Search System Folders, Search Hidden Files and Folders & Search Subfolders

Once they are enabled scroll back up to the All or part of the filename: area and enter this

ENCODEX.EXE

Press Search and it should be located in the System32 folder, delete any that are found by right clicking the file in the results pane to the right and choosing delete

Repeat the removal steps for these files

kilacln.exe
progmen.exe
uio.exe
AppMasterCenter.exe
lpt.exe
34763.exe

EDIT: Changed Ewido instructions for latest version smile.gif

Download, install, and update Ewido anti-spyware
  1. Load Ewido and then click the Update tab at the top. Under Manual Update click Start update.
  2. After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
  3. Click on the Scanner tab at the top and then click on Complete System Scan
  4. Ewido will list any infections found on the left, when the scan has finished, it will automatically set the recommended action. Click the Apply all actions button. Ewido will then display "All actions have been applied" on the right.
  5. Click on "Save Report", then "Save Report As". This will create a text file which you can then save to the Desktop and post back
Finally generate a list of the Add/Remove screen entries so we can make sure there is no problems in there or rogue programs remaining that are related to this Trojan

Open Hijackthis, In the lower right corner click the Config... (Configuration) button.
Once in the Configuration panel, click Misc Tools button.
Then click the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
The Add/Remove Programs Manager panel should appear.
In this panel click the Save list button.
Save the uninstall_list.txt file to your desktop and copy and paste the contents back in your next reply.

Please the post back the Ewido report, the uninstall list and a new HijackThis log. Let us know if you have any problems or questions.

Cheers

Andy
