(Already Answered on the lounge forum)

if you want to try work through the problems the first step is to run multiple scanners to be sure the system is clean because you had some serious infections showing in the last log and backdoor trojans, then upgrade to ServicePack2 once you are sure there is no remaining malware issues.

Please run full scans with Ad-Aware SE and Spybot-S&D as follows:

Ad-Aware

Please download Ad-Aware SE from HERE

Install Ad-Aware and run it. In the bottom-right hand corner, click Check for updates now. Click Connect to download the newest reference file. Once the update is done click Finish then the Start button on the bottom right side to begin a scan. Select Perform Full System Scan and then click Next. Ad-Aware will then scan for malware.

When it is finished, you can right click on the results screen and choose the Select All Objects option or place a checkmark next to the entries you want to remove and click "Next" to remove the objects. Then please restart your computer.


Spybot

Next, please download Spybot-S&D from Here

Install Spybot-S&D and run it. Select Search for updates and then select all available updates. Click on the drop-down box in the top center to choose a download location nearest to you. Then click Download updates. When all updates have downloaded, click on Check for problems. When the scan has finished, select any entries listed in red and click Fix selected problems.
Also enable Spybots Immunize feature.

Then please restart your computer again.

TrendMicro HouseCall
  • Please go HERE to run the Trend Micro HouseCall Scan.
  • Click Scan now. It's free!
  • Read the terms and put a Check next to Yes I accept the terms of use.
  • Click the Launching HouseCall>> button.
  • If confirmed that HouseCall can run on your system, under Using Java-based HouseCall kernel click the Starting HouseCall>> button.
  • You may receive a Security Warning about the TrendMicro Java applet, click YES.
  • Under Scan complete computer for malware, grayware, and vulnerabilities click the Next>> button.
  • Please be patient while it installs, updates, and scans your system.
  • Once the scan is complete, it will take you to the summary page.
  • Under Cleanup options, choose clean all detected infections automatically.
  • Click the Clean now>> button.
  • If anything was found you may be prompted to run the scan again, you can just close the browser window.
  • Reboot the PC
BitDefender Online
  • Please go HERE to run BitDefender's Online scan.
  • Read the terms and then click I Agree
  • You may receive a Security Warning about the BitDefender ActiveX control, If you do, please allow it to install.
  • On the scanning Options screen, Press Click Here To Scan and then follow the on screen prompts.
  • Reboot the PC again
Let us know if problems are found and cannot be removed then visit Windows Updates again and attempt to upgrade your System to SP2
