I've downloaded the latest version of CCleaner, and after I set the instllation options, nothing happens, and the installation exits... The program is not installed... What can I do?

From where did you download your installer? Can you try to download again from here http://www.ccleaner.com/download/ - possibly the 'Basic' or 'Slim' version from 'Other builds'?

Also, close all other applications while installing, and make sure that no firewall or anti-virus or anty-spyware is preventing it from installing.

Your installation of MS VB Runtime could be broken, or outdated. You can download the installer for it here. Make sure you install it before attempting to install CCleaner again. Also restart Windows after the MS VB Runtime installation even if you aren't prompted to do so.
