Ok! I have this movie downloaded and it's in .avi format. How can I burn it into a disc so that I can play it in my DVD player and watch it on TV? I don't have a DVD burner though. Is it possible to convert the .avi movie file into some sort of VCD format and watch it?

Thanks biggrin.gif

you would have to plug your VCR into your computer.
then i found this program.
http://www.winavi.com/avi-to-vcd.htm
havent tried it yet though.

No man, there is no need to plug my DVD player into my computer. My computer doesn't even have those plugin-jacks. There are ways to convert them. I m not sure how though.

Erm, that's a free trail software =\ which means that it will either let you convert half the movie or not let you convert because you need to register first unsure.gif

i never said DVD player.
i said VCR, otherwise, how would you get it on tape?
do you have nero or roxio?
i think that one of those would work.

lol scroll up and read what i said again. I never mentioned VCR! And like I said, I want to get it on a disc not a tape.

Maybe roxio or nero will work, but let's see what others have to say.

Thanks!

some burning programs will auto convert it, windows media player for example does this with audio cd's

Ahead Nero will also let you do it. the trial doesn't have the limitations that you mentioned like WinAVI does wink.gif.
