Hi

When I tried to update to the latest version just now, I got a message reading "error opening file for updating".

I had unchecked "add yahoo toolbar" and "automatically check for updates".

Should I press tab "ignore" and proceed?

It would be best to just uninstall the old version first. If that doesn't work, just delete the CCleaner directory, and install the new version.

Get the "slim build".

I uninstalled old version, as advised, and reinstalled successfully.

Yeah, that sucks though because I thought that the point of CCleaner installing over itself was to keep your settings.
