My sister has a dell laptop. Its a Inspiron E1405. When she turns the computer on, she suddenly gets this error saying generic host encountered an error. Right away, I checked the Event Viewer and found this error.

Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, faulting module msi.dll, version 3.1.4000.2435, fault address 0x00012780.
