Looks ok.
I notice you have lots of real time security programs running.(ewido, arovax shield, and ms defender). If you have the paid version of ewido you could disable the other two and that might speed you up a bit. MS defender quite honestly isn't very good so you would be just fine disabling it and using arovax only as well. Up to you but it might help.

None of your scanners are detecting things right?(maybe run a scan with ewido.) You may want to update ewido to avg antispyware as well. smile.gif

But thanks, as ever, for your help.

I will disable Windows Defender, although I don't have the paid-for Ewido.

When you say "update ewido to avg antispyware", do you mean get rid of Ewido and install Antispyware instead?

Canary, Ewido's new version is now called AVG antispyware 7.5 not to be confused with AVG antvirus!

It's very similar and you will have no problem knowing how to use it. It's best to uninstall the old version before you install the new one, ( after you have downloaded it to your desktop first of course! )
