Dear All,

Does somebody know a good windows component uninstaller.
With the build-in uninstaller you can not uninstall every unnecessary component.

Can you please help me with this?
Humpty
Haven't tried any other uninstallers but the tips below may help a bit.

Navigate to sysoc.inf in the C:\WINDOWS\inf.

Then press Ctrl+H to open the Replace Wizard.

In Replace Wizard:

Find what: ,hide,

Replace with: ,,

Then forward to Control Panels>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows Conponents, some hidden Windows Conponents should now show.

To remove unused drivers and devices see this link.

A good guide to thinning XP is here?
