Full Version: Does CCleaner completely erase index.dat files?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if CCleaner completely erases index.dat files on re booting? I understand it removes Temporary Internet files, Cookies & History, but so does Windows and these are left on the hard drive and can be recovered.
Appreciate any information. Thanks
