I've been using this product for a few days since reading about it on this site, and so far no conflicts, no problems, no slow down. No problem!

Very happy to have found a new software item to fight and protect against malware!

Have you gotten many notifications from it?
I tried it probably 3 weeks or so ago and it was actually pretty good. Kept pretty quiet, low resource usage, and seemed to do what it was supposed to.

I did some searching on it and there were a few posts on another forum that said that it would sometimes cause popups with surveys about cyberhawk, and its developers other programs. That was a little discouraging but other than that I couldn't really find anything wrong with it. Maybe its a keeper, let me know what you think in say a week if it lasts that long.

Cyberhawk had excellent results for detecting key loggers and overall perfrormance was better than some of the paid hips in the tests below.

I just had to uninstall the program. It was blocking all my incoming imap mail. Mail would be sent to my inbox but it would be blank. Found it to be conflicting with my Avast antivirus mail scanner. Otherwise I didn't know it was there

I even think it's excellent new software, but it contains some spyware. That's the reason I have uninstalled it

What makes you think that, I'm sure someone would have picked up on that before now if it did (its certified 100% clean on Softpedia)

I agree JD, I would think it's highly unlikely it contains spyware. Perhaps Daan is looking at the link for >report if spyware found in this download link> to the right on this page and reading something into it. (probably for installer alerts, we at CCleaner know about those only too well!)

Cyberhawk doesn't contain any spyware.
If I try a program I always scan it with avg antispyware, superantispyware, and whatever AV I have on the computer.(usually etrust)
If you ever see me mention a program and say that I tried it you can be assured that I would mention it had spyware if it came up positive.

Reading this thread has got me wondering if I`ve actually got enough protection on my pc. There are so many applications available.

I`m relying for the most part on Norton Internet Security with very regular update checks and regular full scans, which I think (and hope) looks for most things in way of viruses and adware/spyware, and it`s also my firewall.

Regular Windows updates.

Occassional visit to Gibson Research Corp. for Stealth Test. (Just carried this out and apparently I`m invisible)

Should I have more cover? (better too much than too little sort of thing), or am I right in believing I have adequate protection.

Yes your adequately protected.
But there are a few things that you could do to improve your security if you haven't done them already.

1. Install and use spyware blaster.
2. Start browsing with firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
3. Get a couple of the other scanners like Superantispyware and AVG antispyware. The free versions have no auto updates/real time protection so they wont slow you down any.(I guess their functionality would be similar to adaware, but they have much better detection rates for todays malware.)
