Hey all. I've been adding and deleting a lot of programs, and also did all my scans and updates today, so just wondering if anything here could go to clean up some of the mess. Thanks! smile.gif

Your computer was made by IBM right?
I've never encountered this entry before so I had to search for it but I found some sort of alarming info. Take a look.

Other than that your log looks fine. To clean up any software remnants I recommend you grab this offer:
http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/downloads/216...stry-mechanic50

I've been using this program a lot lately and its worked awesomly. I just remove whatever it finds now.(it automatically makes back ups). I used it to clean up all of the preinstalled junk on my laptop when I first got it. It found something like 2000 entries once I removed everything. I just let it remove them all(since the pc was new and I could just restore it) and it didn't cause any problems. Since then I've used it on all my desktops and its worked pretty well.

Thanks. I ran registry mechanic, and that entry is now gone. Dont know where it went. hmmmmm.

also, do you know what this one is? i googled and couldnt find anything.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

it also comes up as a start up service.

Also, any unneeded entries that you can see? I got rid of the itunes as it was only installed to test an old ipod for my bro in law.

thanks rridgely! smile.gif

Here is some info on that entry:

Your log looks pretty good. Not really anything I would disable. smile.gif
